How can I set my new IMAC Intel (OS x+ + ) to use Yahoo as my email provider?

Here are the basic server settings for Yahoo! Mail:





Incoming Mail (POP3) Server:pop.mail.yahoo.com (Use SSL, port: 995)





Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server:smtp.mail.yahoo.com (Use SSL, port: 465 use authentication.)





Account Name/Login Name:Your Yahoo! Mail ID (your email address without the "@yahoo.com")





Email Address:Your Yahoo! Mail address (e.g., user@yahoo.com)





Password:Your Yahoo! Mail password





Open Mail.app, once opened locate Mail (menu) on your apple top bar, choose Preferences in that menu, once opened choose Accounts on the top tabs. When it switches u'll see 2 small symbols on the bottom a - and a +. Click the +, this is where u will create the new yahoo acount. Use the information above to fill out the new accout. And ur done....
