For business purposes, which email provider is better to use, Hotmail or Yahoo?

If you have an established business, then you should register the domain name and use the email that it provides. Otherwise, yahoo, hotmail or any other email account doesn't necessarily mean that it's for business.

Just my two cents

They both suck. Use Google Apps.

Nothing else comes close. Period.

[edit 1] And in response to jpocia03, domain name email sucks as well. Email through registrars is horrible. Email through web hosts (Roundcube, Squirrelmail, Horde) is awful.

Register a domain. Host your email through Google Apps.

[edit 2] Oh, and Buddy Revell, practically any email client allows you to set a vacation message. The beauty of Gmail lies in conversation view (many have tried and none have come close), UI, and a wide array of Firefox extensions and Greasemonkey scripts that allow it to do practically anything.

PS: Gmail rules.
